Hello Everyone…. I’m Hema from Bangalore, Karnataka, an artist by Heart and I am an MBA and did my Fine Arts from Chitrakala Parishath, I have been working in the corporate world for almost 20 yrs now and gave up for my passion and since 3 yrs I have been following my passion for Art. I have a teenage son and it's a small family. I have been passionate about art from my childhood and I love colors and always love to create. I don't like to stick to one particular style of art, it becomes boring and monotonous, I look for new inspirations and new techniques with new products and some new style as well, so this is very much reflected in my work style as well.
Motherhood forces you to become an equilibrist in organizing your daily life – Creativity is also about reacting to everyday changes, plot twists, planning, managing the family etc. Well…..I have waited for years as I had to work, take care of my growing son, family, and commitments, it's not so easy for a working woman, everything is a challenge. But the creative devil pushed me and that's how I got into it as a full-time profession. But I believe motherhood has a positive impact on a wide array of traits and abilities linked to creativity, well It has been shown that becoming a mother improves one’s memory and learning ability and are better at multitasking.
My mother is my role model she is a great artist and I got inspiration from her since my childhood. Currently, I'm bitten by mixed media bug and being a self-taught person in this field I have always explored and learned the art. There is so much still left to master it though. Initially it started all by making beautiful cards with Spellbinders dies and was a die-hard collector of all the beautiful die releases and have heaps of them stored (LOL)....soon I was making cards and selling them on orders then ventured into album making, did a couple of it and when I saw a few artists sharing mixed media projects, the colors and the overall outcome of the art was something which caught my heart and I was inspired to try these but was not confident in trying as there were many mediums which were used in this art. But couldn't hold back the creative devil in me (LOL) which was pushing me to try one, so it went with few trials and errors but I kept on experimenting and so here is how each work went on and slowly I have nurtured it.
I have created more than I can count (LOL).....and Achievements as well. From the time I have started creating I have been on the winning spree yes….there can be few misses…..but there is no month where my work hasn't got a mention in challenge blogs where I have shared my work. I have proudly been DT (Design Team Member) for most of the international blogs right from Cards, Altered Art, Mixed Media. To name few of the blogs I have worked currently, I’m DT for Off the Rails Scrapbooking, CCB- Canvas Corp Brands,Altair Scrapbook Papers, 13arts - GDT, Rhedds Creative Team, Itsy Bitsy, Scrap-Unlimited blogs and previously I have been associated with TTCRD-Through the Craftroom Door, Digi Stamps, Crafting with an Attitude, Scrap N Dipity, Sherry Baldy Designs, Get Creative Challenge blog, Expressions Stamps, Mixed Media Supplies, Mixed Media Warriors, Words &Paintery, Scrapping 4 fun challenges.

Lots of my work have been on top picks and it's all on my blog. Sharing a few over here which were recently done.
A message I would like to convey to all Indian mothers who are talented and creative but never exposed to the world is that Let go of your fear. Though everyone who has a tickle to create is truly blessed and creative…..it should also be inborn and God would have truly gifted us all. So until you don't let go of your fear you cannot create. Believe in yourself. Failures are bound to happen. But failure is a stepping stone for every successful journey. Once you realize it, there is no looking back.
I would like to thank Maher for this lovely place and its truly so humble that she has put so much effort in bringing us all together with our passion for our work and I’m truly honoured to be here. Love u!!
